Audrey I. Shughart

Audrey I. (March) Shughart, 82, of Carlilse, PA passed away on May 13, 2022 at Coudersport Hospital.

She was born July 19, 1939 in Carlisle and is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Mervin L. Shughart; two children, Kimberly (Shughart) Holmes, her husband, Thomas and Brian Shughart; grandchildren, Drew Holmes, Kristin Wiley, Michael Holmes and Marina Shughart; seven great grandchildren and her sister Beverly (March) Stine, her husband, James.

She was preceded in death by her parents William A. March and Helen Fenicle March and siblings, Barbara March Craig and Marline E. March.

Audrey was a graduate of Carlisle High School and retired from Members 1st Federal Credit Union.

She was a very active member of Barnitz United Methodist Church. Audrey loved camping, crafting, flower arranging, photography and music. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

A private graveside interment will be held for the immediate family at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Barnitz United Methodist Church, 23 Church Lane, Carlisle, PA 17015 with Rev. Matt Plant officiating.
