Arlene E. Kuhn

Arlene E. Kuhn, age 91, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Claremont Nursing & Rahab Center, Carlisle.
She was born December 5, 1925 in Dillsburg to the late William and Mary (Wentz) Knaub and was the widow of Guy S. Kuhn.
Arlene showed her love of community and caring nature through her work with many organizations. She was a Den Mother for Cub Scout Troop 325. Arlene was a former President of: the North Middleton Township Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary; the Crestview PTA; and North Middleton Youth League Auxiliary. She was Trustee of the North Middleton Township Fire Company and a member of Waggoners United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was especially proud of her roses.
She is survived by: three sons, William (wife Susan) Kuhn of FL, Ronald (wife Debra) Kuhn of Carlisle and Stephen (wife Crystal) Kuhn of Carlisle; a daughter, Deborah (husband Glenn W.) Wimer of Carlisle; a step-son, Eugene “Sonny” Kuhn of Carlisle; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by her seven siblings, Paul, Woodrow, Glenn, Annamae, Viola, Arthur and Violet and a grandson, Craig.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Dr. Richard E. Dennison, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
