Anthony Joseph "Aj" Mills

Anthony Joseph “AJ” Mills, 31, of Carlisle, PA passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 at his home.

Born on February 20, 1988 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Melody Mills.

AJ was employed at KMF Fabricators in Luzerne, PA. He was quite the philosopher and enjoyed documentaries. He was best known as a “jokester” and could always make everyone laugh. He enjoyed skateboarding, video games and fishing. He loved animals and animals loved him. But his greatest love in life was his daughter, Mya.

AJ is survived by his mother Melody Mills of Carlisle; sister Jennifer Mills and brother-in-law Scott Ford of Carlisle; brother Steve Mills of Pittsburgh; daughter Mya Mitchell and her mother Amber Mitchell of Pittsburgh; grandmother Margaret George of Carlisle; nieces Saige (Gribble) Thomas and Hailee Mills; nephews RJ Olean and Benjamin Olean, Braden Mills, Jimmy Mills and Stephen Mills, Jr.; uncles Scott Ford and John George; and aunts Pam and uncle Don Fenicle, Sandra McKeehan and Nancy Weidner. He was preceded in death by his uncles Mark George and Jesse McKeehan.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 10:00 am at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. Interment will be at Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens following the service. The viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
