Anna E. Paulus

Anna E. Paulus, age 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Shippensburg, PA on August 1, 1935 to the late Bruce L. and Mary L. Shearer Cline and was the widow of the late Ronald E. Paulus, to whom she was married for 28 years and who passed on August 4, 2014.
Anna had retired from the former Kinney Shoe Co. (Foot Locker) of Carlisle after 35 years of employment. She attended the Tree of Life Church in Carlisle. She was a member of the Carlisle Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and she worked at Harner's Bakery at the Carlisle Farmers Market. Anna loved to dance, cook and spend time with her loving family.
She is survived by a son, Ronald (and wife Laura) Paulus of Peckville, PA; five daughters, Penny Paulus and companion Ed Carpenter of Carlisle, Cheryl (and husband Steve) Fry of Carlisle, Wanda (and husband Joe) McCurdy of Loysville, Linda (and husband Roger) Jumper of Shippensburg and Cathy Barr of NC; three brothers, Dale (and wife Sue) Cline of Mechanicsburg, Melvin (and wife Janie) Cline of Carlisle and Robert (and wife Grace) Winters of Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Groves and four brothers, Clyde, Jerry, Jack Winters and Glenn Cline.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle with Rev. David S. Herr officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services.
