Alyce Faye Heller

Alyce Faye Heller, 78, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 17, 1940 in Mechanicsburg, the daughter of the late William K. McNair, Sr. and Mary E. (Roth) McNair.

Alyce lived her life to the fullest. She was a former member of the FOE Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and Solitaire (especially in groups), shopping at Boscov’s, scrapbooking, antiquing, gardening, fishing and traveling. Her traveling adventures included trips to Las Vegas, Hawaii, Alaska, Paris, Bahamas and the Caribbean. She spent countless weekends at Rehoboth beach. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Alyce is survived by her sons: Randy Lynn Heller and his wife Christie, Ricky Lee Heller, both of Carlisle and Danny Ray Heller and his wife Amy of Dillsburg; brothers, Lee McNair and his wife Lucy, and Steve McNair; sisters, MaryEllen Keller, Almeda Peterson and her husband Walter, Josephine Cline and her husband Curtis and Kay Smith and her husband Phil; grandchildren, Jessica Coulson, Stephanie Heller, Cody Heller, Brandon Heller, and Jonathan Heller; great-grandchildren, Callie and Oli Heller; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Samuel McNair and William “Billy” McNair, Jr. and sister, Nancy Ellwein.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Burial will follow at Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
