Alvin Oliver Whittle

Alvin “Al” Oliver Whittle, age 42 of Camp Hill, passed away May 13, 2021 at home. Born September 24, 1978 in Portland, OR, son of David Carlyle Whittle and Ann Joy (Olp) Thomas.
Al worked as a laborer in the construction field. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, cooking, playing music, dancing and traveling and loved the beach.
Surviving are his mother Ann, and her husband, Jerry Thomas, Etters; daughter, Layla Whittle, Etters; sister Teresa (Vincent) Starner, Red Lion; step sister Nicki Valle, Enola and step-brothers Jeremy (Elayne) Thomas, Harrisburg and Nathan (Jolleen) Thomas, Mechanicsburg; maternal grandparents, Robert Olp, York and Helen Mundy, York and his beloved service dog, Callie Rayne.
Al is preceded in death by his father, brother, Shane Whittle and step-grandmother Susan Olp.
At the request of the family, viewing and services will be private at their convenience.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd Carlisle.
