Ronald R. "Ron" Mowery

Ronald R. “Ron” Mowery, age 67, of Shippensburg, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born August 16, 1950 in Chambersburg to the late Robert W. and Margorie L. (Shoemaker) Mowery.
Ron was formerly employed by Ingersoll Rand, Volvo and later retired from Georgia Pacific. He raced at Path Valley and was a fan of local racing. Ron loved to fish, especially at the beach in Lewes, DE.
He is survived by: his son, Troy Mowery of Shippensburg; his daughter, Misty Jo Mowery of Shippensburg; three brothers, Bill Mowery of New Egypt, NJ, Robert Allen Mowery of Wichita, KS and Terry Mowery of Shippensburg; two sisters, Susanne Etter of Newburg and Wanda May Mason of Newburg; and three granddaughters.
In accordance with Ron’s wishes, there will be no services or visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA.
