Obituary for Dale C. Mundis

Dale C. Mundis, age 47, of Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at his residence.
He was born February 4, 1970 in Blossburg, PA to Ralph and Sandy (Colson) Mundis of Blossburg.
Dale was a Project Manager for Tuckey Restoration. He loved music, racing RC cars and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dale was a kind man who would never hesitate to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #1299 and the White Circle Club.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Dawna J. (Shearer) Mundis of Carlisle; two sons, Derek Shearer and Sullivan Mundis, both of Carlisle; two sisters, Lori (husband Dean) Edwards of Elgin, OK and Lisa Amato of Shillington; a brother, Kyle (wife Jo) Mundis of Enola; a nephew, Gavin, who lived with Dale and Dawna; many other nieces and nephews; and four chihuahuas. Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Mundis on September 26, 2005.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the services.
