Colleen E. Bonner

Colleen E. Bonner, age 95, of Carlisle, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Thornwald Home in Carlisle.
She was born in Carlisle to the late Paul and Hazel (Shughart) Shover.
Colleen was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, BINGO and spending time with her family. Colleen was formerly employed by The HUB Dress Shop and worked as a receptionist in Dr. Prescott’s office.
Colleen is survived by daughters Joan Martson of Carlisle, Bonnie Piatt (Charles) of Pensacola, FL; brothers, Thomas and Ronald Shover of Carlisle; sister, Linda Seltzer of Mt. Gretna; grandchildren, Benjamin and Craig Carns, David Piatt and Lauren Jirak; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Merrill Hubbert, Charles Braught, and Warren Bonner; brother, Ted Shover; and a sister, MaryBelle Thimgan.
Per Colleen’s wishes, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA 17013.
