Beatrice Joan (Lebo) Weaver

Beatrice Joan (Lebo) Weaver, age 85, of Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Church of God Home, Carlisle, PA.
She was born in Carlisle on March 22, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Robert J. Lebo and Sarah (Brown) Lebo-Hollinger. She was raised by her grandparents, Anna Maude (Longwell) and John Henry Brown, and she was married to William S. Weaver for 66 years.
Beatrice graduated from Carlisle High School Class of 1951. She ran a self-employed business called Home Interiors and Gifts. She was a former member of the Plainfield Church of God, and now a member of the Church of God Home. She taught Sunday School and Ladies’ Bible Studies for sixty years and was a member of the Cumberland Valley Chapter of American Business Women’s Association, serving as both president and treasurer.
She is survived by her husband, William S. Weaver; one daughter, Lou Ann (husband Donald) Milhimes of Gettysburg, PA; two grandchildren, Rebecca E. (husband James) Peterson, and Pete W. (wife Caitlin) Milhimes; two great-grandchildren, Kaia R. and Karter Peterson; two brothers, Robert C. (wife Betty) Lebo and Bruce A. Lebo, of Carlisle; and five half-sisters, Linda Snyder, Carol Highlands, Patricia Taylor, Judy Vienay, and Rosalie Hollinger. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald H. and Jerome H. Lebo; and one sister, Stella (Lebo) Paxton.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 W. Trindle Rd., Carlisle, PA, with Rev. Bradley V. Moore officiating. Interment will be in the Westminster Cemetery. There will be a viewing Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
