Obituary for Arlene C. Lusk

Arlene C. Lusk, age 71, of Newville, passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving children.
She was born April 17, 1946 in Brick Town, NJ to the late Ralph and Lee(Frankie) Aversa.
Arlene graduated from high school in Brick Town, NJ and went on to pursue a career in Cosmetology in Manchester, NH. At the time of her death, she was employed as a beautician at Greenridge Village and Claremont Nursing Home. She had a true passion to make everyone feel beautiful both inside and out, just as she was. She will be deeply missed by so many that she touched along the way. Arlene had many talents: baking, painting, arts and crafts, and making everyone smile. She had an uplifting spirit with a “Go Get Um” attitude. She battled many challenges and hurdles throughout her lifetime and handled it all with smiles and bravery. Arlene was a beautiful person and was everyone’s biggest cheerleader. She was so good, kind and considerate to all the people in her life. When she gave, it was easy to see that it came straight from her heart and it gave everyone around her the gift of a nicer world to live in.
She leaves behind: three sons, John (wife Kris) Dahl of NJ, Donald (wife Cindy) Lusk of SC and Keith (partner Chris) Lusk of NC; two daughters, Christine Fox of VA and Tina (husband Hank) Zolla of MA; a sister, Gail Capoano of NJ; a daughter-in-law, Gladys Lusk of NJ; five grandchildren, Eric, Nicole and Sarah Dahl, Richard (wife Mary) and Michael (wife Becky) Zolla, Kevin and Shaun Lusk; special niece, Theresa Capoano of NJ; special cousin, Tina Klim of NY; Maxine (husband JL) Seabolt and Winston (wife MaryAnn) Lusk, both of GA; many nieces and nephews; her Earthly Angel, Sr. Theresa LaBore, CSC; and her fur baby, Maci who was always by her side. Arlene also leaves many forever friends that she treasured and considered family. In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Lusk, son, Bruce W. Lusk and sister, Lorraine Cotton.
